In the rush of the city, it's easy to miss what—and who—is right in front of us. Step into PLAZA, an interactive experience that turns people-watching into the art itself. Over two weeks, once a day, former Lincoln Center Collider Fellow Andrew Schneider—director, writer, and multimedia artist—transforms Josie Robertson Plaza into a living artwork built from what's already there: the crowd, the noise, the strangers beside you, and the coincidences that happen when people share a moment. You won't just be present; you'll be part of what everyone else is watching, too. 

This event is part of Lincoln Center's Immersive series, where digital media and the real world collide. To fully participate in this event, bring your headphones and your (charged!) phone, and prepare to witness something new.  

Tickets are free, but registration is highly encouraged. Come as often as you can. No two days and no two audiences will be the same.

Josie Robertson Plaza serves as the gateway to Lincoln Center at Columbus Avenue and West 64th Street, with David Geffen Hall, the David H. Koch Theater, and the Metropolitan Opera House facing onto the square. The landmark Revson Fountain at the center of the Plaza—a location for many famous movies including Moonstruck, Ghostbusters, and Black Swan—displays spectacular choreographed water shows daily that can shoot water spurts up to 40 feet high.
